Abstract:

Glomalin-related soil protein (GRSP) is an important indicator for soil quality and soil carbon pool, which has great ecological significance to forest ecosystem. In this study, six Pinus massoniana association sites in central Guizhou were selected as the research objects. By measuring the related indexes of GRSP and soil nutrient indexes, the distribution characteristics of soil glomalin and its correlation with soil nutrient factors among different P. massoniana associations were revealed. The results showed that the variances of soil glomalin related indexes in 0—20 cm and 20—40 cm soil layers were significantly different among different P. massoniana associations (P<0.01). EE-GRSP and T-GRSP were decreased with the deepening of soil layer. The ratios of EE-GRSP/SOC and T-GRSP/SOC increased with the deepening of soil layer. While the ratio of EE-GRSP/T-GRSP showed an inconsistent changed with soil layer, and there were significant differences among different P. massoniana associations. EE-GRSP, T-GRSP, EE-GRSP/SOC and T-GRSP/SOC were significantly correlated with soil SOC, TN, AN and AK (P<0.05 or P<0.01), but there was no significant correlation correlated with pH, TP and AP. The results showed that P. massoniana associations could significantly affect on the distribution of soil glomalin. The results show that different P. massoniana associations have significant differences on the distribution of soil GRSP.
